Welcome to our website. My name is Jim and I am the creator of the site. You may have come to the same conclusion that I have. Our world is becoming increasingly more turbulent. Every day we see more examples of natural disasters, wars, civil unrest, etc. The list goes on. Too often the consequences of these events leave families displaced without adequate food, shelter, clothing, communication and other necessities. I asked myself, what can we do to assist in preparing them for these events because, I don’t think they will be going away. During the course of my thirty-nine year industrial career, I have been trained in emergency response and when necessary, responded to a few emergency situations – some natural and some industrial. 

The purpose of the site is to present several resources we all should consider having readily available to protect our families and homes as we prepare for emergency and sometimes disastrous situations.  You will have the ability to click on sponsored links which will allow you to further research each product and purchase if you desire.  This is an affiliated marketing site and hence, Emergency Prep Co will earn a modest commission for each purchase.  My commitment to you is that Emergency Prep Co will contribute a minimum of 10% of its profits to one of the multiple nonprofit agencies that courageously respond to the communities in need during emergencies and disasters.
